Trane's BTU CrewTM combines two of the fastest growing career opportunities in one real-world PBL experience that can lead students from fun career exploration to industry-recognized certificates for high-tech, high-demand, high-wage careers. This session will highlight the public-private partnership between Trane and KSDE that is helping schools implement the Energy Pathway, provide IPS opportunities as part of the Kansans Can School Redesign initiative, and connect students with the latest in industry-recognized training and technology to jump-start their careers. Now being successfully implemented in school districts in Kansas, come find out how you can help your students learn more about and join this exciting new CTE program! This presentation will include ideas that are being discussed to help blend this PBL energy curriculum in with existing classes.
